Cost of Wet Sand

Looking to get my top cap and trailer wet sanded...what is an average going rate to expect?

I've also done extensive research on here and have considered doing it myself.

Just do it yourself. It goes fast at first! Probably take you 30 hours or so.

In my shop it depends on color, condition, possibly age and boat brand. Best case, worse case 400-600 bucks.

Thank you! I was quoted $1000 at a local shop and thought that was very high. It has minimal oxidation.

Just for the top cap and fenders I would think that would be a little expensive but if these guys know what they’re doing and the work is great it could be worth it. I charge anywhere from 1000 to 1400 for an entire bass boat that will include fenders and getting the finish on the motor corrected.

That’s not that high for good work. That’s a pretty labor intensive job.
