Passenger rod box

Searched around and haven't been able to find the "capacity" on the box next to the passenger seat. How long of rods can you get in there on an 819? How many? Thanks

mine has 4 rod tubes in it. I consider the box semi-useable. Does pretty good with a couple of 6'6 baitcasters in it. as you go above that not enough room for the reel end of the box. I think I put a 7+ foot rod in mine once but had to bend the rod quite a bit.

best use I've found is keeping some crappie rigs in mine

I put 7' rods in mine. Will hold 4 rods with no problem. The max I have put in it is 6, but that was a little crowded.

I keep stuff in there that is needed but not used and doesn't hurt to get wet. Boat paddle etc.
