    Fender guards

My fenders were starting to take a beating were road debris gets thrown on them.
I ordered some 8 inch wide traction tape then made a pattern and cut the traction tape out to match.
It came out pretty nice and my fenders are now protected. 43F935AE-0D27-43AA-A904-CA2DC52027A9.jpeg

That's a great idea. Mine are starting to look like crap with every nick becoming a rust spot. Very disappointed to say the least. I'm going to have to have the fenders re-painted and then I will apply that tape. Thanks for the tip!!

Mine was rusted when it was delivered and so was the other five delivered that day 6/12/2020. I immediately refused delivery of the trailer. Vexus offered no help other than to goop some schmeckum where it was rusting. At the time they were not using any seam sealer between their stitch welds under the step treads. Just puking rust. Inside the swing tongue was complete rust coverage. Where the wishbone is welded to the box channel was rusting. The dealer agreed to let me change my order to the aluminum trailer and they put a dealer tag on the steel one and sent me fishing. My eighth trip out the side bunk broke off of the C channel and sunk to the bottom of the lake. Upon inspection it was a faulty weld. I used that trailer all summer and have the boat in storage on that trailer until April 3. It took Vexus 9 months to get me my new trailer and the only way I got it was my dealer ordered a 1880 with an aluminum one. I felt that the only way to get away from the rust was to go aluminum. I hope they have improved their manufacturing processes.

I added a clear film to mine. I have plans to remove mine and have them vinyl wrapped someday.

I looked at the Blue as well..The black matches the steps and trailer.

I have used the 3M “clear” product on a few customers boats when we replace, redo, or just change out the fenders...nice product and holds up great.

This is really horrible. I would hope they start building better trailers.

Maybe spend less time on the videos and more time on improvements?
