    95 20xd prop help

95 20xd, 250xs, sportmaster 1.75 gears, 12” plate, loaded heavy, 36 volt ultrex, 4 batteries, (2) 8’ powerpoles, I’m 6’4” 290lbs. I can’t seem to find a prop that will move the rig like a lot on here and other places I see. I’ve tried a 28 bravo 1, great hole shot and 6000 rpm @ 76 loaded with 2 people, prop is even with pad. 30 bravo, slower hole shot, and 74 @ 5800 loaded with 2 people 1.25” above pad, 28 promax 5800 @ 78 loaded, terrible hole shot.

ive been told the sportmaster hurts me running lower, but I feel like I’m not getting the bow lift I should and have a lot of prop slip with the bravos. Should I go back to the torque master for fishing?

I ran a 225 for awhile on my 20xd. Ran a 28 hydromotive XOB at 1.25 above the pad with a tourque master that had a cone installed. I liked the hydromotive props on mine loaded to fish. Even when I went to the 300xs. Just my op.

For the weight the poles 4 batteries your not that far off. Hydraulic plate would help both hole shot and top end. I'm thinking 80 would be best with what you describe

Something is off with your setup.... you should be mid 80s loaded easily.
I had the close to the same... 20xrd, 250 proxs SM 1.75 , 12" plate, no poles, but 52 gallons,30 promax prop 1.25 " above and could run 84-86 loaded to the gills.

I think you are in the right ballpark, u are loaded heavy. I found that these boats like the heavy stuff in the back, plastics, etc. u got 4 batteries in it too and poles. The poles catch wind to.
