    Squeaky leaf springs

What can I do about squeaky leaf springs on my single axel Ranger trailer? I notice it when I'm pulled out at the access. I'm sure it's squeaking going down the road, whenever I hit a bump.

WD 40 or silicone will help for short term.
Only sure cure is "wet" bolts that you can keep lubed and they have brass bushings instead of plastic.

Squeaks mean something is metal to metal, most likely the noise is coming from the bolts.

the original bolts have a Teflon/plastic sleeve, they are not very thick and most likely worn thru.

If you decide to replace the bolts, definitely replace with the Wet Bolts, at least you can grease them to keep them from wearing.

New bushings. I always kept my springs and bushings soaked with white lithium spray on my saltwater trailers....it did the trick.
