I also noticed the RAM extension was scuffing the white console so I put a foam beer koozie with the bottom cut out over the RAM extension. I thought it had scratched the paint, but just scuffs that came out. We turn our Solix around on the RAM mount to see it from the front deck, so it gets rotated a lot each trip. Which leads to contact with the console. Have the ends of the Solix mount taped as well to keep from scratching console.
