1980 CC or 2180 CC - non factory accessories

My 1980 CC is not in yet.......but, of course I'm thinking about small items that aren't factory available to add to a center console and wondering for others with a CC model what your favorite add on item is / was.

Here are a couple items I'm considering:

Install of a 'glove' box of some kind - there appears to be no good spot for car/truck keys, wallet, phone - I'll likely used the boat for a couple months before making any choice on this.

Seems the top of the console where cup holders are is a good spot for a phone, but hot days, not so good. And, no 'soft tray' to set a phone in - considering following from castaway customs (I have zero affiliation), but likely too big: https://www.castawaycustoms.com/prod...-dash-pockets/

Also, Castaway Customs has a 'fish ruler' that I think could be placed just inside gunwale on 'ledge' adjacent to the console.

Need a way to store / keep 9 foot rods - wish the 8'6" rods were just a bit longer - but once I'm in possession I might figure an easy way around this issue.

FYI - the 1980 CC I ordered is to have SeaDek everywhere, Garmin Force, Garmin 73SV G3 Lakes at bow and console, door opening struts and compartment lights, stereo, dual axle trailer, 150hp Merc Pro XS.

-15 degrees here - so I'm all jacked up on caffeine wandering around the web looking at all kinds of center console ideas. Thank you all, this forum helps one keep their sanity outside of fishing times :)!

I would say one of my favorite non-factory accessories is a Procise Outdoors Dek-It Dash mount for my console graph. I was going to go the flush mounted route (HDS-12 LIVE), but I realized there would be potential glare when standing/sitting to run the boat. The mount gives me the ability to adjust my graph angle based on how I am running the boat. I paired that with BassBoat Tech Warrior HD Gimbal to eliminate shake.

Well, I found another option / accessory I hadn't added - so, now my 1980cc (beginning build March 10, I hope) will be getting Merc monitor in place of speedometer.

@DanielO337: That top console mat from CastAway Customs (link in earlier post inside this thread ) I think might be too big ?? Anyone know for sure? Dimensions are : 15 x 10 inches

Just picked up my 2180 last week. Had the dealer add a power pole and i ordered and installed a Dolphin 2 T-Top... That Texas sun really tries to beat you down.
