    Merc Trophy plus to a 2014 yamaha f115

    Looking for an answer about a hub kit. I have a hub kit now that rattles like crazy in reverse and a bit in forward when idling. It seems to fit just fine when installing it. There are no numbers on it to identify it. There is a # on the metal inset 8M0042201 but that is just the insert part#. Just sent the prop to Croxton for another issue and i mentioned the rattling and he said to ask around about a hub kit specifically for 4 strokes? I asked around including Merc and they came up with 835271Q2 which in pictures looks just like the one I have. Anyone have any idea if there is a better or improved one or one designed for 4 strokes? Thanks.

    I think you need the flo torq 4 or 3 hub... I'm not sure.

    I don't know if this will help you any or not because I have an OX66, not a 4 stroke. The flo torq hubs do have some play / rattle to them. I put a Turning Point hub in my Trophy Plus and it is snug enough that you have to tap it in with a mallet. There is no play / rattle with the Turning Point hub.
