I have a 2012 19SE and would like to see some DYI console mounts. I have a Helix 9 on a Ram mount but thinking of putting another one on the console and was needing some ideas. I like all the pre made mounts but $$ are thin, so was needing some DYI ideas. Thanks

I have done 4 different Triton with reinforced consoles and adding graphs to them. The old Triton’s were just not built for the big, heavy graphs of today. Even if you have the room to mount I wouldn’t trust it. I speared a wave in my old 99 Tr21 and without the reinforcement the graph (Humminbird 1199) would have been gone. I will post a few picks of a couple of the builds. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. I would say materials for all the builds were in the $50 range. These are all rock solid and didn’t break the bank.

I built a reinforced bracket of aluminum tubing and angle iron inside my TR21X console, very solid as its attached to the fibreglass console. Holds dual Helix 10's without issue.
