Any one fish the 7 1 spinning? It is called "finesse" but the specs look more like true medium. How would it be for drop shot or ned?

the 7'1" is a great rod for drop shot, handles a ned just fine. skips a 5" senko. I do a lot of pitching with a texas rigged drop shot. it's a great all around spinning rod. the shorter xf may be better for dropping with open hook and you like a lighter rod.

Does anyone know if they are releasing additional Victory models? Starting to look at jerkbait rods and am hoping they release a 6'-10" jerkbait version.

Supposed to be 25 models total released in the series both spinning and casting combined, but not sure when the next models will be released. I did see on another forum they may be announced at next Icast but don't know how true that is.

Ya know,,, a tackle shop in my area made a big to do for the last release of the Victory rods. They had a rep there and Pizza, the whole nine yards. It’s like the videos and e-mails have disappeared. Whatsup?

Just ordered the 7’3 spinning. Got a decent discount, so I figured I would give it a shot. I’ll report back once I fish it.

The total lineup will be coming very soon. 17 casting and 8 spinning, all technique specific in the lineup, including a few totally new big bait models.

    'S.B. Ranger' 7'10" HF - 3/4-3oz.
    'S.B. Avenger' 7'10" XHF - 2-5oz.
'S.B. Brutus' 7'10" XXHF - 4-8oz.; used it, you could go over 8oz., but 12 would be the absolute max.

I know it says fast, but I hope its more mod/f so it can be dual purpose (jig hook/treble)

I like the length and up to 12 is

    Thanks for the info!

I would put the Crosshair up against ANY hair jig rod on the market.

The BassX Swimbait rods will be much more of a single hook rod... Victory will be much more treble hook centered. It's the nature of the material.

Do not sleep on the BassX rods either. These have spent the better part of the last two years on the west coast with a few hammers helping develop them.

I did see the Bass X on youtube, which looks nice. I know the price will be intriguing.

If it was on youtube I missed it, but the Victory sounds like my lane since I primarily fish trebles over Jigs.

I need something to throw my ghost and other baits, preferably under 8ft without dropping $500. I was going to build on another NFC but this might be a great off the shelf option.

Anyone using one of the victory casting for their frog rod? If so, which one?

I hope they come out with a 7'-7'6" Light action Fast/Mod. Fast spinning rod for casting light baits long distances.
