Steve I wish you would elaborate on what there is to calibrate on an Ultrex foot petal that has anything to do with a AT icon on the head unit. So are you in the same category as some on here that thinks Lowrance made the AT to only work on a Ghost trolling motor.
please tell me how to calibrate my Ultrex foot pedal.

The transducer has it's own form of built in IMU (compass)

To be clear, I was talking about the ability of the Ghost to calibrate the motor head with the foot pedal. Ultrex, I guess can't be adjusted.

Exactly! We all can't afford all the goodies ,Lowrance offers. There is no adjustment that I have seen. AT doesn't even show in the Network under device list, unless its the ghost. It not connected via NMEA, therefore not on Network.

Is there a way to disable the directional cone so it does not show?

No, that is what I said in an earlier post, hopefully they will add in the next update, to have the option to remove.

You can adjust the position of the AT direction cone via MFD setting/sonar/Active Target/Heading offset.

My problem is that I display AT on both helm and bow units. The helm units indicates same as TM direction but the bow unit is 130 degree's off to the right. I also see lag time between movement of the TM and the direction cone angle on the MFD.

Configuration - helm HDS live, bow HDS live, connected via ethernet, Ghost TM connected to helm unit and TMC-1, active target control module connected to helm unit via ethernet.

From my research on other forms and on the boat the AT heading cone is independent from the TM or MFD, thus you can mount the AT transducer on a stick, rotate it and the cone follows the stick/transducer position. I have communicated this back to Lowrance and waiting their response.

I have the AT-transducer mounted on a pole and a point-1 in my network. Directional arrow is correct most of the time. Of course my pole has a handle which aligns to the transducer direction, so I don't really need the arrow.
But at first I hadn't tightened the transducer that good to the pole and it would sometimes lose alignment with the handle. When I saw the arrow pointing somewhere else than the handle, even by only a few degrees, I checked the transducer and sure enough it had lost alignment. So the directional arrow works very reliable for me. There must be a compass in the transducer, and so the quality of the arrow direction when mounted on a pole would depend on the transducers compass working without interference.

AT has some sort of sensor for direction, I`m guessing AHRS. If the transducer is not influenced by magnetic sources and you have a P1 on the boat, the system seems very stabile. If your AT is mounted on a TM, you have a HUGE source for magnetic interference close by, and should expect the sensor to not work well.

My at is mounted on the barrel of the tm, the cone dir is not bad. Does not seem to be bothered by the tm running. I don't usually even look at the display for direction since the pointer on my ghost is accurate

I'm following I have at and no point 1 if I use a pole mount can't I just point it the direction I want to see?

Of course. This (very) old post is talking about the direction cone not matching the transducer direction. If you have the transducer on a pole, you’ll have a visual cue as to the direction the transducer is pointing.

My AT is accurate with my Ghost arrow but graph cone always lagged left or right. I turned it off and now go off ghost arrow. Much easier to see my lure and Im not looking at the stupid cone icon.
