gehol, Thanks for the description of how you did this. I noticed a huge difference by just installing a hole shot plate and this seem like the next logical step. I'll figure out a top plate and then fill it with foam.

i put boat bumpers in mine and aired the up. 3 small and 2 big. It does make a difference
Got my plates from Steve at Hydromotive mounted them I put a #55 workout ball, dang that made a world of difference in setting the boat down. I do not see any difference in the hole shot also.
Good to see you yesterday LT !! That Bullet sure looked AWESOME out there ! Gonna have to hook up with ya sometime so you can show me around the Hill.
I've always deflated kick balls then pumped them up tight after putting them inside the jack plate. My dad used boat bumpers (for pulling up to docks) and they seem to work good too
+1 on the inner tube. That is what Steve recommend on his rapid jacks.
Back in the day when I had a 21'10" I used the blue foam
in the JP w/a top and bottom plate plus a Bman foil.
The hole shot was fantastic and I could chop the throttle
and not have to outrun the boat wake.
The setup lowered the bow while on the TM. LDS
