LOL the dealer thinks there was an air pocket in the fiberglass/gelcoat.. Waiting to hear back on when I take it in for repair.

Oh, wow....that’s crazy. I’m sure they will fix you up, though.

Had the same thing happen to my last boat. Blazer 202. Had several voids under the top gel. Was cracking like an egg. Blazer took care of it. Hope Phoenix does the same.

Phoenix will fix it, no doubt about that. Does kind of look like a void in there. And dont worry, a good glass shop can make it look like new. I had a small spot fixed on mine and you couldnt tell at all

UPDATE: I sent the pic to Tim at Phoenix this morning. This afternoon, my dealer called to say Tim had contacted them and is sending the repair materials out. THAT is excellent customer service from both Phoenix and my dealer!

I saw the post and kept quiet to see the outcome which I 100% knew would end in the person saying now that’s CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’ve had numerous Phoenix boats since 2010. Their customer service is ridiculously TOP NOTCH! Tim is the man!

Second update: I got a call directly from Tim as well. Basically he wanted to fill me in on what was happening on his end and reassure me this is an easy fix. Very classy move! Even though I obviously wish the problem never existed, This level of customer service makes me very glad I bought a Phoenix.

It is at the dealership for repair right now. (Would've been there 2 weeks ago but mother nature decided we needed to mimic the north pole for a bit.)

I had a spot on my 2013 721 that was in the gel, did not pop like that but Phoenix took care of me on a boat that at the time was over 6 years old.

Final update: Picked the boat up today. You would never know it had been there. Super happy with the repair and with the way Phoenix and my dealer, Lewis Boats handled it.
