    Odd, first I've heard of it. I know often times people forget to include the UPC, a receipt, or something of the sort and those submissions get rejected. Did you follow up with Daiwa on it? That was last year so who knows...

    I know a LOT of BBC guys got their shirts last year as I saw a bunch of them selling in the Miscellaneous forums for $40 a piece, makes these reels an even better deal!

    Same here, I called diawa after 3 months and spoke with a gentleman that proceeded to belittle me and in short tell me sorry bout your luck ! As a owner of 10 diawa reels and 3 rods it has made it hard to buy another one !

    To me the spool is more freespooling in the new model. Might just be the way I have mine set tho.

    The biggest difference is the new models are smaller and more compact. I feel like I can get better distance with less effort with the new model as well. Taking nothing away from the 2017 model as it is a very nice reel indeed, I find the 2020 version more comfortable in hand, lighter weight, and generally an improvement overall.

    i sure appreciate that kind gesture but it’s all good ! My complaint is petty and the hoodie I can live without but the way the fellow treated me I didn’t deserve ! Yes sir my diawa stuff treats me well but just have hard time hitting the add to cart button now ! Thank you again , gesture much appreciated .
