Definitely one of the worst years I’ve ever seen. Water everywhere, cold temps, and no birds. Never got cold enough up north to freeze everything up and push birds down.

There are probably 4 and 5 year old ducks visiting Louisiana for the first time with this freeze. Hope next year they remember how to get here!
Had a fairly good season out here in Northern California. Hunted 20 times and killed 125 birds.

Worst year ever! Never killed a duck! With that said, this was the first year in 25 years that I didn’t have a federal duck stamp and didn’t hunt. Too much going on and a couple unexpected things happened to keep me out of the blind. Sound like I didn’t miss much this season though.
