Never been in a Falcon but that seems awfully expensive for a boat with hook graphs and an edge TM....

    It's about $2000-3000 too high.

But that dealers pricing is ridiculously high anyways.

That's a bit high for such a basic "package".

I believe Ed's Marine in Ashland is a dealer.

Ed's reputation isn't the best. Probably will go with one in NC or SC. Should have stated that in my earlier post. Any thoughts on a NC or SC dealer. Isn't there one close to the factory. Looks like I'm about 4 hours from the factory.

There are two in NC and two in SC. Skyline and Boaters Marine in NC. I've never been to Skyline, but Boaters is just over priced. I haven't tried negotiating with them, but when the initial asking price is stupid high I'm not inclined to even try. They had a 3 year old used F205 with high hours and mediocre electronics, still wanted $60k for it. No thanks.

T&T and Wilson in SC. I've not been to either.

If I was 4hrs from the factory then I would just call and see if you can order though them. Tell them why plus you get to see the factory.

I just got a quote for $42K with a 175 SHO. That was with no TM, no electronics and no batteries...I've got my own year old ultrex, garmin/birds and lithiums.

That seems pricey for only having a 175. Can get a Triton 18 TrX with a 200, electronics, troller and batteries for $43k.

Yeah or you can get a 189TRX with 175, tandem trailer, Ultrex, and two graphs for $43

Yeah but I'm not that big of a Triton fan. I've had mostly Cats...Have seen one of the 20' Falcons and really liked the way it was laid out so that's why I got the quote. I'd be more likely to spend that money on a 2 year old P2. I'm sure the F185 is a real nice boat but I'd also really rather have a 200. The F195 won't fit in the garage.

I did get the F185 quoted with a tandem trailer, I think the only other add on was the sea dek in the cockpit.

I do like the F185 just not a fan of the middle compartment between the seats. It looks really tall

You can get a seat for the middle if you're good with loosing the storage, otherwise, it's a not overly tall. The front deck is ample. A local dealer has one in stock now at the same price listed above. Nice boat though.

I think the Falcon's are nice boats. I just don't think it's as nice as a Triton. Except for the F20 Predator. But then that would be a hard decision between it and a Phoenix. If the Predator was $65-67k it'd be a no brainer. But $73k, just a bit much for what you get.

I think Falcon is jumping the gun with raising their pricing the way they have, when they don't have the dealer presence, market share or brand recognition that warrants it.
