Can anyone personally recommend a place for a quality graphite replica of a LM? My son caught a dandy 7.17 here in MN last summer.

There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.
Hi Cal:
Wayne Ek here in Alexandria. I used Craig's Taxidermy up here in Alex. to have a big smallie done in graphite and repair a big large-mouth mount that was damaged during a construction projiect. Both turned out excellent. He is a little slow because of all the business he gets, but he is very good. Has no web page, his phone is 320-763-7806. And his shop is about a block away from Christophersons Bait & Tackle.
Later,
Wayne
Thanks Wayne!

I'd also recommend Tim Overbaugh. The best replica artist I've ever seen, and I acknowledge that's a bold statement. The work that man does is unreal. He's located in Fridley.
I'll throw in for Erik Frank of Angler's Touch Fish Art and Taxidermy in East Bethel. I have four replicas from him and he is the only guy I will go to. He does some absolutely incredible work. I can PM his contact info to you, but if you search facebook he will be very easy to find.
