When I park my boat if I take motor tote off engine will bleed down in a couple of hours where skag is on the ground. I’ve made sure my manual lowering screw is tight I can’t find where I have leaks. Has anyone ever had any issues like this? It’s a brand new Skeeter Zxr 20 boat I’ve only had since the end of October.
Yes My brand Yamaha 250 SHO did that with 6 hours on the engine. Took it to the dealer and the replaced the trim unit under warranty.
My 2020 does the same thing although I haven't had anything replaced yet.
Sounds like to me they have a batch of bad piston seals or a valve leaking issue. The only thing that would cause a bleed down. CJ
