From the lake to the river ... all the width of Illinois from the NE corner of the state and into Iowa. I wish I could convince my wife to move to a warm place. But, we will have January behind us in a few days. Then we need to wait out February & March... get our shots ... and get out of the house. Stay safe - be well.

Definitely not my favorite time of year! We're setting our tournament schedule and getting the boat and equipment prepared just like every year at this time. Nothing else to do but shovel snow, get into tangles with the new puppy, and visit with the new grandson!

I am usually in shorts this time of the year, in Texas between Austin and San Antonio. Still a Texas resident but due to the Covid 19 wife wanted to stay at the house south of St Louis for the winter. This weather sucks and now I remember why I moved to Texas in the first place. Fish 12 months out of the year.
