AVX port side rod tube removal

I took a look underneath through the trolling motor tray and it is definitely foamed in. Has anyone removed or attempted to remove them? I’m confident that I can fabricate a clean megatube but removing the foam looks like it will take awhile. Also, would this affect the hull warranty?

I took mine out and made my own mega tube like you are thinking. I broke two rod tubes in the process but no big deal because I wasn’t planning to put them back. You’ll have to cut away some foam to clear a path for you new mega tube but it’s easy. Maybe 30 minutes plus clean up.
