I am interested in knowing more about the permanent bow navigation lights you mentioned. Where did you find this product and how would wire them? Thanks for any information

Installed Mercury VesselView Mobile module today! Can’t wait to get on the water and put it to use. Did see that I have 26.9 hours on the motor.

I ordered some permanent bow navigation lights from Vexus (Steve Clark-$75+S/H) this Wednesday 02/10/21, so I’ll reveal a before and after when they arrive. But here is what they look like on the new AVX boat models. That TM footwell will need to be removed to install the lights.

Maybe you can do it by just removing the front console panel. I had to tighten my TM bolts last fall and it seemed roomy in there.

Did you buy a display panel for it or will you be using the app on a mobile device? I use my phone and it is so-so. I like that I can see my engine hours. My 2020 Merc 115 ProXS doesn't put out much information from the ECM to the vessel view. That is where I was disappointed. Connecting to the app is also hinky.

I just plan to use my iPhone. Lots of coin just to be able to keep up with maintenance basically, but worth it for the peace of mind. (I hope!)

Ya, you had to connect to everytime u wanted to see something and the bluetooth connectivity wasn't always the best, but for the price... Cuz I'm having my dealer the MercMonitor instead of the speedo.. that was like $500 installed...

Looks great Kenny. I really should have done that as well. In retrospect I should have gotten that trailer and opted out of the jack plate and hotfoot.

Here are a few pics of the AMPD in my 2080. This set up is actually four separate pieces that can be arranged a couple different ways. I also have an additional side section which allows me to use the middle 6 rod tubes and have side side storage as well. With this set up two of the other sections fit perfectly in the STBD side front compartment.

Wondering if that would fit in the 1880.
