360 (non mega) compatible with 1158c??

Hi,

I'm wondering if Humminbird 360 non-mega is compatible with the 1158c unit? I know it won't show it as a stand alone unit, but I will have it networked to a 5 port ethernet switch. On that switch I will have a 998c SI Combo, Humminbird 360 (non-mega), and an 1158c (NOT DI version, just GPS/Sonar). I'm wondering, since I know the 998c will show Humminbird 360, can I share that image to the 1158c? I have a picture of the 1158c so you are able to tell exactly what model it is.

The 360 software was released in Jan 2013 and only SI units got menus/views for the 360.

Even with the latest software update on the 1158c it won't work?

I contacted Humminbird CS about my 858c HD DI and they told me non-mega 360 would work. I have seen on the legacy units "they need to be SI" and "any unit with an ethernet connection" will work. Not sure which is correct. I haven't hooked mine up yet, so can't confirm they are right.

Hooked it up tonight and no the 858c HD DI won't recognize the 360. My 1198 SI at the console picks it up fine. So, it needs to be SI if a legacy unit.
