I’m done!
500 pushups in a week would be a challenge for me.
I started years ago doing pushups while watching KU Basketball games. When I started it was 25 every time out and halftime. I only do 10 or 15 now depending how I feel. Last game I did 160 pushups. Not sure I could get 500 in 4 hours now, but when I was doing the 25 per timeout, a game went into double overtime and I did allot of pushups that game.
I still do some push ups. But at 63 no way 500
I do 100 every morning before work. We used to do something like this during the day at the Firehouse. Try and hit 1000 in a day
Dont think I could do 10 anymore
500 ?

I did them laying on my back
Four hours is too long need to shorten that to 1 to 1.5 hours. 20 to 30 at a time with 5 minute rest in-between.
I can do 10 a day, so doing the rough math..... yeah, thats more than 4 hours
In Jr.high a friend of mine set a school record doing sit ups, I know it was over 3 hours. It peeled the skin off his back around his waistline. We were talking about 30 years later and he said he still had the scar.

Try doing push ups with 2 tears in 1 shoulder and 1 in the other. I did 25 last night and just about killed me. It is going to take awhile to get back to 100+ in a day let alone 500 in 4 hours!

We were talking about fitness with the kiddos over the weekend. Kids to Dad, "Can you do pushups?"
Dad to kids, "Hell yeah watch this!"
Wife to me, "Is that your shoulder I hear popping?" After 20 I was done, tried one the next day and my shoulder said 1 is all for now. Lol 500 nope, not gonna happen.
I don't do "Ups". Not pull, not sit, not push. I obey laws. But thanks.
We had a little 300 push-up/best time challenge at the gym last week between myself and a couple of the younger guys I work out with. I finished my 300 in 81 minutes which I didn't feel was too shabby for an old bastard.
