    Covid cost me a best friend today

    One of my very best friends passed before lunch today after having Covid. He had part of one lung removed 3 years ago but he has been doing fine since. After being sick with the bug he wound up with pneumonia and other problems. His wife called me late last night and told me to pray hard for him because the doctor said he wasn’t responding to anything they tried. Kuwait veteran tank division commander. A couple years older than me but last I saw him he looked younger than me. His wife of 40 years is having a really bad time. His son and my oldest boy grew up together. I just want to throw up!

    I am so sorry to hear this. I too lost my brother in law and best friend to this terrible virus couple of weeks ago. So sorry and prayers for you and his family.

    He called me his little brother. He was 6’4” and 275 . He was as good a man as ever lived. I was sure he would outlive me. I just can’t understand this crap going around. My sister in law has for the last ten years looked like death walking. Cancer and many other ailments. She got the virus and and after a couple weeks in the hospital is back in church and feeling okay. I was sure we would be putting her in the ground. Makes no sense!
