Lakemaster has no coverage where I fish, and Navionics has no HD mapping so I either use Navionics Sonar Charts or Auto Chart Live.

Lakemaster in Humminbird units have the lake level offset, depth highlighting, and three products per region.
    Lakemaster has contour mapping.
Lakemaster Plus has contour mapping and satellite imagery.
Lakemaster SmartStrike has contour mapping, and fish location prediction software.
    Lakemaster has annual editions.

Navionics has more coverage for your part of the country since its has been in business a lot longer.
Navionics map products are updateable so you can have today's maps today with a map card purchased today.
You can view the current contour maps on the Navionics website's Chart Viewer.
The map files get about 2000 updates daily "somewhere".

If your lakes are covered by lake master, nothing better. The lake offset is a game changer in itself and the contours are second to none. In my humble opinion.

I use the Lakemaster Plus. I like the satellite imagery and the contours.

I ran Lakemasters last year but I'm switching to SmartStrike this year. I'm a newbie and need all the help I can get!

I don't think it has been specifically stated but all 3 Lakemaster chart cards have the exact same lakes. If your lake isn't on one of them, it won't be on any of them. They only have the differences which Wayne outlined.
