    1880 115 Evinrude Motor Height

    On my 2020 my motor is bolted right to the transom and it is bolted in the lowest position possible.

    Just wondering if anyone would recommend moving it up? Why or why not?

    I do see about 5700-6000 RPMs, and have touched 51.5 but more routinely 47.5-49.5 for a top end with a tournament load and 2 anglers.

    I have the 135 HO, I moved it up for the summer and then put it back down. It made very little difference if any performance wise and may have lost a little bow lift. That's pretty good on the RPMs, IMO.
