    GT56 Transducer at speed

    Hi Everyone,
I installed a new GT56 Transducer along with 2 UHD 93SV Echomap units. Should I get another 2D transducer to get depth at speed or can the GT56 handle that?

56 can handle, but that all depends on where its mounted.

Well, dont know what the back end looks like but if the ducer will be mounted ANYWHERE above the pad,you will not get a 2d reading when on plane..... if thats the case on the mounting, you can not have the GT56 and a 2d ducer on a Y cable. Now, you can have the GT36/2d ducer on Y cable and accomplish what your wanting. The GT36 is the same as GT56, just no 2d element.

Are both 93 UHD's on console or front and back??

Both will be on the console and networked, so I could run another unit for 2d and they could still share data from the GT56.

Ok.....i think this is what you can do. Add a 2d shoot thru, connect direct to one UHD, install GT56 and connect direct to the other UHD unit.

I have 2 93SV side by side at console. I have a gt 54 for side and down scan. The other I want to read sonar through hull on plane.

Only way to do that is GT8HW-IH correct? Do I need an adapter?

Unless you have a hull with barely any deadrise, I think you will want the GT15M-IH since it handles 0 to 25 degrees deadrise. You can plug the GT54 into one of your graphs, the GT15 into the other and then network them to share data.

Yes you can install the GT8 and connect to the other 93. You will need to 8 pin to 12 pin adapter cable to connect to unit.
