I'm not fussy on the maple. It's all just sugar. But I do enjoy a good blueberry syrup, preferably homemade.
And it's gotta be heated up to melt that butter on my waffles.

    Log Cabin.
I remember being so poor my mom would make syrup from Brown sugar.

I have relatives who prefer the corn syrup. They're weird.

I live near maple syrup central in ny. It's sold every 10 miles going down every road. Took a ride down some back roads south of Cooperstown ny. The maple syrup being tapped in that area was more than I ever seen.

I like Mrs Butterworth too. I do like the northern homemade maple if they reduce it down a little extra too make it a bit thicker. Don’t care for the watery, runny stuff.

Does anyone remember Log Cabin when it came in a tin container shape like a log cabin?
    Probably about just before WW11.

Hey. I don't particularly like maple syrup, it takes over the flavor of the waffles or hotcakes. King is fine by me, and I'll throw some jelly in too.

This is me too. I'm also diabetic, so I use very little, but just a little sorghum goes a long way. Maybe a couple tablespoons on 3 flapjacks is enough for me.

My mother was not a fan of the pure maple syrups so she would mix 50/50 of pure maple and Log Cabin stirred together in a cup then pour on her pancakes/french toast. It was pretty dang good!
