    Fellows Lake

    Saw this down near Springfield. Fellows Lake, How does this lake fish? What species are there? Can any boat fish it? Any other info?

    I think it is owned by City Utilities (Springfield's power company) and there is a 40 HP limit. There is a marina there and I think you either buy a pass or pay a fee. I've never fished it but have been there to look around, but that's been over 3 years ago.

    I've seen some big bass and muskie and a lot of crappie come out of there. 40hp limit is correct and have to have a CU tag. Marina is shut down and is going to be rebuilt. They are building new trails around the lake now. Marina used to be privately ran, but City Utilities has taken it back over. No swimming or wading allowed. There is a boat ramp where the marina is with a pretty good launch.
