Lower Unit Compatibility
I had a 2001 225 Optimax serial number 0T274536, I had the lower unit replaced in 2017 but the engine gave up this past September. The part number for this lower unit is 859399T13
I have someone interested in this lower unit but they have a 2013 225 ProXS serial number 1B974839 and the part number it calls for is 880686A43. So to the question, is this older lower unit at all compatible with the newer engine?
yea it will fit wouldnt recomend it though on a pxs mtr , standard optis

+1... really meant for 200 or 225hp Standard Optimax engine models (non-ProXS engine models).
