Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but if anyone knows how to clean these decals, I figure it would be y’all.
ok, so I’ve got a new merc 4 stroke and like an idiot I wiped right over the decal when applying some wax. I’m afraid to put anything too harsh on it to remove the wax, so just looking for some advice on how to best remove the wax shown in the image without damaging the decal. Many thanks!
Not sure it will work, but I've removed wax from plastic components on a vehicle with just a pressure washer. Not very aggressive and take your time. Worth a try?
Maybe something acidic that would cut the wax. White vinegar would not hurt the finish.
Nylon bristled brush should take the wax out.

Thanks guys, I tried some white vinegar very lightly with a rag without much result. I’ll try again with a soft brush.
