Will an Elite TI and TI 2 Communicate Via Bluetooth?

Hey all, I have and Elite ti 9 at my console. I am looking to move it to the bow and buy a new (or gently used) 12 ti to replace at the helm. Given the new 12 will likely be the ti2, I wanted to make sure that the two units would be able to communicate via bluetooth to share waypoints, etc. Not the end of the world if they don't, but if they do, it would at least save me from having to run a cable. Thanks for any input, it is appreciated.

No units what so ever communicates through Bluetooth, but two Elite Ti2s can be networked with WIFI.
Ti and Ti2 can share new waypoints with NMEA2000 as long as both units are on when the waypoint is entered.
