    removing rod tubes

What is the easiest way to remove the metal rod tube without tearing something up? Feels like it is stuck to the foam. Thanks

It is glued to the foam, and very difficult to remove. But if you provide year and model of the boat, a member here might have attempted it and would have some advice.

Are you referring to the rod tubes in the stbd rod locker? I’ve never seen a Ranger with metal tubes, most are black plastic tubes. On my 2000 518vx they pulled right out,not foamed in at all. I think they started foaming them in,in the early 2000’sas my 2001 520 was foamed in. Maybe none of this helps any though.
