Ok guys, I need some help. I cut the hole for my recessed pan yesterday. I knew the front compartment was going to extend under the pan, I just didn't know how far. It's almost 7" into the cutout. I was able to cut through it and that wasn't a problem. Seeing I was already into the compartment I was thinking I would just let the pan drain into it. I can't do that because I have less than an inch between the bottom of the pan and the bottom of the compartment. The front 20" of the compartment is only about 3" deep (I hope I'm explaining it so you can get a visual). This pan didn't come with a drain to attach a hose, but if it did, there's not enough room between the pan and the compartment. I can cut through the compartment, but then I'm below where it needs to be. Second thought was to cut through the foam that I have access to and run the drain hose down through the bottom of the boat and it could drain out the bilge. I started to cut down through the foam and stopped because I'm not sure what I'm looking for down there. I hope this makes sense and someone can give me some ideas. Thanks in advance.
