jacking points on Ranger tandem trailer?

What are the recommended jacking points on a 2016 tandem trailer? I need to change tires and I'm reluctant to use the axle as the jacking point. Does Ranger have any recommendations on this?
    Thanks

I don’t know of any Ranger recommendations. They are reluctant to give advice for private owners to work on such items themselves, for liability reasons. Many bass boat owners, myself included, use a ramp to drive one tire up on [tandem axle], elevating the other tire to work on it. I haven’t seen a thread on this for a while, but in searching could find one if necessary. I built mine with about 6 overlapping pieces of 3/4” plywood, staggered and spaced so that the angle of ascent is right, and a “stop” piece on the top to reduce likelihood of driving off the other side. Carry it in my truck all the time; much quicker than using a jack, so long as you block the wheels on the other side, etc. to be as safe as possible.

Older thread, but some useful ideas: http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread....ferrerid=39498

The ramp method mentioned above is the best. I made mine using 2x6’s. Unfortunately I have had to change more than my share of tires. The ramp method is by far the best way!!

I have used the frame a number of times. 3 ton jack rides in the work box in the truck. As far as exact location. Can't help there, other than use common sense.

Will this work on leaf spring axle trailers too? Seems like I read somewhere it is designed for torsion axle trailers only

Works fine on a leaf spring trailer until the axles get far apart like some RVs.

It is much more stable than a bottle jack on the frame.

Bought the trailer aid plus. Going to try it out tomorrow when I go to put my wheel back on.

Yes. Everyone that owns a tandem axle trailer should own one of these. Have used mine lots of times. Works perfect. Super easy.
