    Stomp Switches

    Has anybody have or used the new MINN KOTA 1810253 RAPTOR/TALON BLUETOOTH STOMP SWITCHES?

    My opinion is that when they deploy, it seems to be more receptive when you initially "stomp" vs. the old switch .... but the bluetooth connection is sometimes spotty, so difficult to tell. Otherwise, holding power once engaged is very acceptable.
    I assume your inquiry is completely around the new switch ?

    I just didn't trust it was deploying when I would step on the switch, always would have to look back to see if they were going down

    I don't trust them either when I step on the switch ... but the Raptor's are so quiet when deployed you have to look back anyway to see if they go up or down

    My Talons were just put on about a month ago. Not sure if have the foot switch you are talking about - mine is kind of a triangle shape. I've only used it a couple of times and it seems to work fine.
