    Blown 2007 Yamaha HPDI 200HP $1500

    ****SOLD**********

    2007 HDPI 200HP approximately 400 hrs $1500 OBO

No pressure cylinders 1 and 3. Did not open up motor to inspect. Just took off boat and replaced. Was cruising at 45mph and lost power and engine stalled. Cranked it up about 10 mins later and limped in. Never used again.

Anything can be rebuilt and the fact that he drove it in says nothing major like crank or rods would likely be damaged. If the cylinders are not scored it may be a fairly inexpensive rebuild. If I were to guess a piston cut loose some debris and ruined the other cylinder. Won't know until the heads are pulled or bore scoped. Cj

I'm not in position to give you a definite answer. I'm not a mechanic. I was able to start it and limp back to dock. It's not like a piston or rod flew out the block. Everything looks normal from the outside but I can't say what's wrong on the inside. That's why I'm putting it out there so cheap. If someone decides after they tear into it not to continue they can easily make the money back selling it in parts. Ecu, Injectors, cowling, foot, tilt/trim
