Can the gen 3 do depth color shading if so how do I get it

Yes, shading was introduced with HDS Gen 2. Works well with C-Map and C-Map Genesis.

Navionics does not have the capability to shade different depths. Nothing to do with Lowrance. You can shade a single depth range and set a safety depth but the multicolors for different depths is not part of Navionics.
