    "budget" scope for 6.8SPC

I recently picked up a used LWRC 6eight (AR platform chambered in 6.8 SPC)

I would like to use it for deer hunting and am looking at getting a budget friendly scope for it...anyone have any good recommendations...would like a 9X or 10X at least for as I plan to shoot out to about 300 yards.

    any suggestions?

How friendly a budget are we talking about? Leupold VX-3 series has done me right.

Meopta Meopro would be my choice.

Call Camera Land NY, tell them your budget and what it is going to go on and they will make some great recommendations!

I used to recommend Nikon Monarchs for a budget choice but now that they are out of the business I am not sure what I would recommend. I prefer Leuopold products but you used to get more for your money with the Nikon stuff.

For $500 you should be able to get a III series Leupold.

    +1

I like Leupold esp. for the generous eye relief. Was using a Nikon BDC recently and was reminded of why I prefer Leupold. Never owned a Vortex though

The VX 3I are no longer being made and have been replaced with the VX 3 HD. They should out next week.
