Spent some time yesterday in the snow showers throwing some cast.....

Spent about 1/2 hour making a few cast with a new set-up and threw a spinnerbait around and a crankbait and chatterbait and even a swimbait ....didn't get any takers but it was fun to throw a few cast, a little cold but and snowy but the water was open or at least most of it ice about 15' around the edge where I was. Can't wait I'm having a bad case of cabin fever already lmao

Always around the 8th.......... Drove by Watuppa earlier today on the way to Ford, looked at the lake and said, I could do that. Dropped off the truck at Ford and walked over to Harbor Freight. Got to HF and I was pretty damn chilly and thought, Yeah sure, I could have fished today...... Who am I kidding.

You guys should look into a float ice fishing suit. Insulated, and added safety with the float technology, would go a long way to helping fish a little longer this time of the year. I ordered one from FXR Pro Fish, still waiting on it though. Probably be spring before I get it.

I could bear with the cold if I caught fish like that.

After this week, it's 4 more weeks till March 1st.... I know it can be a brutal 4 weeks but I figure if we can get to March 1st, winter for the most part is behind us and warmer days are ahead.
