    93 faststrike vro removal

looking at a boat that has a 93 fast strike 175 that still has vro hooked up. is it best to go ahead and unhook it or if it has run this long should i leave it alone. i don't have serial number yet but will get it if i buy the boat.
    thanks

I have a 1991 and mine is running with the vro and no complaints, my other 2 friends also have fastrikes and there running the vro with no problems , so just keep it if it runs right....

I really don't think there is a piece of mind on removing the VRO. I'm much more afraid of forgetting to add oil to the gas than I am worried about VRO failing.
