Love my NRX rods, they are my favorite rods.

I would like a upgrade to maybe some torzite guides and full cork handle on spinning and casting, the recoils have never gave me any problems at all and it keeps the blank light.
My 901s is my all time favorite spinning rod, I love it and it won't be getting replaced.

Any details on when you should receive the rod? I am very close to pull the trigger on a 893c. But if the 'Plus' version is better balanced and has better guides, I might hold off on it.
x2, I would love to see some pics of the rod and know what guides and handle are being used...

Please explain these warranty follies you speak of and how the serial number will help this.

I'm going to venture and say it's for tracking the original owner so someone who bought used cant make a warranty claim.

I'm not sure what's more mythical at this point, the "new NRX" or the power pole trolling motor.

Any more news? I was told “end of March” by a Loomis rep. It’s close to the end of March...

I wouldn't be surprised if they hold off the release until ICAST in July. It's an iconic line of rods that needs a big event to unveil the update.

Tackle Warehouse removed all of their NRX’s. It’s hard to imagine G. Loomis not having their flagship rod unavailable for that long.

ALF has 2 days shipping on all their NRX. I think they want to clear out inventory too.

Still had to get a 804C...

I'm on the fence on whether to pick up an 872s before the redesign. Have an 852s and a GLX 853s that I really like.

Are they really bringing back the MBR’s?! That would be awesome, loved my 843, although it was more of a finesse 2 power feel. Everyone complains about recoil, but from the customs I’ve had done on identical blanks, recoils definitely add sensitivity, it’s just a fact. With or without recoils I’ll still be buying them. I hope they keep the split grip and the minimally painted blanks.

Release, if it happens will be ICast, whichever form it takes this year, and availability of late 2021. Dan

They are calling it the NRX+, as someone already mentioned. They are being listed on Susquehanna fishing tackle, and they have all the models listed that will eventually be available. They are going to have the MBR series again too. Sweet. I’m sure I am late to the game here.
