    Geist frozen?

    Anybody know if Geist is frozen thinking bout goin tomorrow to scratch the itch

    I doubt it is frozen. I guess there could be some skim ice in some places. Some of the ponds over in my part of the state have very thin ice in the morning, then its gone by afternoon.

    There are ponds and lakes up here with open water. Hell half of webster is open. I'd be shocked if geist has ice on it.

    I wouldn’t trust it if snow covered without using a spud bar to check thickness as you walk on ice yet.

    I wouldn't trust Geist, but pretty much every lake up north has enough ice to drive at least a 4 wheeler or snowmobile on, if not a full sized truck. I see 40's in the long term forecast but...it's going to be a long minute before the Skeeter gets out.
