mk universal quick release help

I have just bought my first new to me bass boat. With that being that being said the boat had a old fortrex that does not work
i have a gen 1 terrovai do not plan to keep and later plan to upgrade to ultrex.
I want to put a quick release on so i only have to do this once, my question is do they or can you modify a quick release that will work with both terrova and ultrex???

This guide should tell you which are compatible between the 2. I just looked. None are between Terrova and Ultrex
