    The Ultimate Fishing Story

My Buddy and I were fishing a small local tourney at Rogers Lake in Old Lyme Ct. in late September.

We were doing pretty good with a limit and a couple of Bass over 3 pounds, we were flipping Lily Pads.

I came across a patch of pads between 2 docks, Flipped my trusty brush Hog to the pads, get a bite, set the hook............LINE SNAPS RIGHT AT THE REEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

50 Lbs. braid, How does this happen, of course I said some choice words.

I look in the water and the bass swims right by the boat, I could see the line trailing him, I took my rod, grabbed the line and hand lined him in..........4 pounder..........NICE!!!

That fish could of swam anywhere, but it chose to swim by the boat, thank you very much!!!!!!

My buddy catches a 5 pounder with 5 minutes left to go and we end up with over 17 pounds, we got 1st and Lunker....YEE HAA

Should have stopped on the way home and played the lottery. It was your lucky day.
