    Jack Plate/Prop Setup for 2019 ZX225

Trying to get a general idea on where to set my jack plate and prop ideas to get the best speed out of my ZX225. I usually run light/medium on tackle, and 1/2-3/4 on gas. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Speed is greatly dependent on weight in the boat as well. It runs ALOT faster with weight in the back but bounces ALOT more. I run a T2 25 and hit 66MPH with normal distribution and have hit 70 mph with everything in the rear.

70-72 boat all day. What’s your P2P height?

I have a hydro plate, so I have no idea what the best prop shaft height is. I do think that a worked vented T-1 is the best for top end speed with a light load. If you're packing more weight than normal, then the 25p Tempest is hard to beat.
