    12/3 wiring

    for my electronics i should be able to buy a 25ft 12/3 extension cord cut ends off run it front to back use one wire for ground one for power to a switch .Connect at bow fused power to electronics all acoarse with sealed conections that shoud eliminate any interference or am i missing something thanks

    I would use 10ga marine wire, not an extension cord wire.

    Can be done and several I bet have. Most here will not recommend. They will choose correct size marine wire.

    Cant for the life of me find a reason to use an extension cord.

    I also recommend tinned marine wire.. At least you'll rule out some possibilities or regrets..
