Dakota 36 Volt lithium Pro or Cons

I am considering installing a Dakota 36 volt lithium for my Ultrex. Anyone have any experience with that setup. They are on back order from Dakota for 6 weeks so I’m thinking they are in demand.

If you can get in contact with them to answer questions.... They have been around a long time in ice fishing electronics (small 12v 9-18amp batteries), I know a few dealers for them around me but when I was searching for batteries I couldn't get on their website, couldn't get ahold of anyone there and it made me question customer service on a 11 year warranty battery. Just my $.02.

Who every you use id try calling them and speaking to them first. Just to see if they will communicate before the sale let alone after the sale.

I’m running the Dakota 12v 100aH batteries in my bass boat and have had no issues with them in the past six months. I also run Dakota lithium batteries in my kayaks. They are the 12v 23aH batteries. I have three of them in three different kayaks. Been running them for over a year now. They have been flawless! Their 10aH Power Boxes work great for keeping phones and such charged on camping trips.

So what are the reasons? Really curious as I have been considering the same thing. Noticed J. Wheeler had a 3 12v battery set up as primary and a 1 36v as a back up in his new rig and that got me wondering why not just 2 36V batteries with one for a back up.

I was speaking with the owner of fuel zero. I was looking at 3 of his 12v 50ah. He suggested 2 36v 36ah .
most will say go with the 3 12v so in case one goes out you could grab a lead acid battery for short term replacement. The 2 36V would still keep you up and running if one went bad, just at a lower ah until you got a replacement

You will wanna do (2) 36 volt in parallel. Never a single 36 volt IMO.
