Fuel Injector alarm, ‘07 250 ProXS

    2007 ProXS
    s/n: 1B498795

Running the boat today I began to get a steady beep alarm, it would stay on while idling, occasionally go away if I “fast idled” 12-1500 rpm. I was near the ramp and at the end of my day so I idled back in and loaded it up.
The alarm would go away sometimes, but listening to the engine I could feel/hear a bit of a intermittent roughness or stumble, before and during the alarm.
Smartcraft gauge only said “stbd fuel injector” it didn’t give a number or indication of a particular cylinder. I’ve read a little about wiring or connector issues. Just looking for a place to start and check. Prior to having to tow it to a tech.

    thanks!

Beyond that or "stumbling" on something real obvious, you'll need to get the Run History and Freeze Frame (Fault) History read.

What is the best/ safest way to clean the pins & terminals on the injectors? Just use a contact cleaner or scrub them somehow?

An old/retired toothbrush works pretty well with contact cleaner.
