    Installing Minn Kota Alternator (Charge on the run)

    I'm installing a "charge on the run" system and need to connect to a wire that only has power when the ignition is on. Any suggestions on where to look?

    I spliced into either the ignition wire or off the smart craft, can’t remember. I think it was the purple wire.
